In Gurghiu, a small village located just 15 km east of Reghin, on 100 hectare of natural habitat, deer are being bred for meat production of the highest quality.
In 12 parks of 5 to 8 hectare each, in small groups of 30 to 40 deer are, yearly, giving birth to a total of some 400 fawns that, at the age of 15 to 18 months are being slaughtered and exported in piece meat to the company Ager who since 1971 is Europe's most modern and leader in wild meat processing and distribution.

The deer meat produced from this farm is called "Natura Prime Venison" and is from animals not more than 20 months old.

Farming Group Transilvania® additionally, is exclusive international distributor for Romanian Deer, Wild Boar and Bear meat products. Some 180 tons of "Natura Deer", "Natura Wild Boar" and "Natura Bear" meat products are available on a yearly basis for international distribution.

Both the "Natura Prime Venison" and the "Natura Deer" are organic meat products and differentiate one from the other only due to the fact that one is produced from domesticated and the other from wild life animals.
